U.S.-Slovenia Tax Treaty Enters Into Force
The Treasury Department announced June 28, 2001 that the bilateral income tax treaty with Slovenia entered into force on June 22, 2001, upon the exchange of instruments of ratification in Washington. The treaty, to which the U.S. Senate gave advice and consent to ratification in 1999, represents a new treaty relationship for the United States. The treaty applies, with respect to taxes withheld at source, in respect of amounts paid or credited on or after September 1, 2001, and, with regard to other taxes, in respect of taxable years beginning on or after January 1, 2002.

Ali ve mogoče kdo kaj več o tem? Ali to pomeni, da bo potrebno plačevati davke na kapitalski dobiček dosežen recimo na ameriških delniških borzah.
Ali to pomeni tudi, da bodo američani naši davčnio upravi pošiljali podatke o odprtih ralčunih slovencev pri ameriških borznih hišah?

Parlament RS je ratificiral ta mednarodni sporazum pred ameriškim. Na določene točke je ameriški parlament dal veto.
Najbolje je, da sporazum poiščete na straneh uradnega lista (tisti, ki je brezplačana) in ga vzamete malce v študij. Ker vsi vsega ne vemo na pamet, je to edino, kar vam lahko na hitro napišem.
